Cornelia Ulbert

Cornelia ULBERT is executive director of INEF since May 2006. Before this post, she was an assistant professor at the Otto-Suhr-Institute of Political Science at the Free University Berlin and a Research Fellow at the European University Institute, Florence. Her other academic employments include positions at the Universities of Konstanz and Mannheim, where she took a doctor’s degree in political science. In her research she concentrates on global governance and “new” modes of governance, international negotiations, theories of international relations, human security, gender in peace and security policy, public private partnerships (esp. in international health policy). Her publications on human security include “Human Security als Teil einer geschlechtersensiblen Auÿenund Sicherheitspolitik” in: Sicherheit + Frieden , 1/2005. Together with S. Werthes she is currently co-editing a volume on Human Security – der Stein der Weisen für globale und regionale Verantwortung? (“Human Security – Philosophers’ Stone for Global and Regional Responsibility?”), which will be published in November 2007.
